How to Sponsor

Our children at The Ark range in age from newborn to 18 years old. Probably about half of the children will remain with us until they are grown up, and after that we still maintain a family relationship with them. The other half of the children will either leave in adoption or be returned by the court to a family member. Sometimes that process takes years.

Your sponsorship enables us to do our best to provide all that the children need. In many cases a sponsor-child relationship becomes a long term friendship.

Our service to you is to help you choose your sponsored child, then provide you with updates which include photos.  If you like and the child is able, you can receive personal mail from that sponsored child. Our time is somewhat limited to allow computer time for all the children and translations to many letters, so the quantity of communication will be limited to what is reasonable.

Sponsorship is from $35 to $250 a month per child depending on what you prefer.

All correspondence can be sent to allans@arkchildrenshomes.com You can write to us at any time to enquire about your child or any concerns you have about your sponsorship. Sponsor letters sent directly to the child will be read to the child, translated and printed.

It is not a requirement to maintain communication with the sponsored child but you are invited to do so. The children are delighted to hear from their new friends.
